The Sock Exodus of 2007

I've started the wheels on the Great Sock Exodus of 2007. Here's the deal. I'm sick of doing laundry and having to deal with a bunch of socks that are of different types, age, brand, and color. So I have decided that I'm going to throw away all my socks that I have now and buy new ones, all of the same variety. That way, there can be a moderately-uniform distribution of sock wear and all of the same kind (so I can match any two as long as they are the same color). I bought 32 socks this weekend, 16 dark and 16 white. I'll be wearing each pair of my current socks once, then they'll be thrown away regardless of how nice they are. The binging and purging starts now.

The Great Underwear Exodus will begin soon; as soon as I find a good deal on underwear. I saw a pack of four at Meijer for 10 bucks, and that is not happening.

It's really great to just throw away socks when you're done with them.
