Easter was this weekend, and among the festivities, Mom and Dad hooked me up with an easter basket (bucket, technically) full of awesome goodies. Including a couple Rubbermaid containers. Now, I was excited at the time because I have a lot of unpleasant Rubbermaid containers for leftovers. But, I wasn't as excited as I should have been because I didn't realize the true awesomeness that the easter bunny bestowed upon me.
One of society's long standing problems is with the lids to plastic containers. How on earth does a person keep track of the lids to their containers for leftovers? You never can find the one you want, and despite whatever mechanism you try to use, you can't possibly keep them organized in any reasonable fashion. Truly, this has plagued man for as long as plastic containers have been around.
Mercifully, Rubbermaid has come to the rescue, and I am very thankful that Mom has introduced this glory to me. I present to you, the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Food Storage Container. As astute readers will notice, the lid is attached to the bottom of the container.
Let that sink in for a minute. The lid...is attached...to the bottom.
And what's even more amazing, you can stack the same size lids and containers together. So if you've got three of one size, all three lids snap together, and the containers will sit inside each other. Have you got smaller containers? They, with their lids, will fit inside the bigger containers.
It's like someone took the metric paper system and applied it to Rubbermaid containers. I'm really excited about this. All that's left now is to figure out how this placebo effect business works and human kind is pretty much good to go.
